Piot Engineering is an engineering company in Başiskele, Kocaeli, Turkey. We build robotic welding and robot handling cells. We also maintain, repair, supply parts for and modernize the robots and PLCs already running in factories. We design and manufacture our own fixtures and develop our own camera systems for weld quality.

Mechanical design and manufacturing: we build that machine
Everything around the robot that touches the part, from fixtures and grippers to conveyors, frames and special machines, is designed and manufactured by us. The team that designs it is responsible for building it, and the same team is on site.

Automation and modernization: we build the connections
Machines, robots, sensors and operator panels only behave like one line when the control system ties them together. As a Siemens partner we automate machines and lines and replace ageing control systems. Alongside lines still running SIMATIC S5, we plan migrations to S7-1500 for S7-300 systems, which since October 2025 can no longer be ordered for new projects or extensions, so that where possible the switch fits into one planned shutdown.
Robot cells: ready to run when they arrive
Palletizing, machine tending, assembly. We build the cell in software first, prove reach and cycle time in simulation, and arrive on site with a system that is ready to run. If budget is tight, a cell built around a used robot is an option, and we are open about how we manage its risks.
Service and parts: when your line stops
Preventive robot maintenance with more than 30 check points. New and used spare parts with warranty for ABB, KUKA and other brands. In-house repair and testing of controller boards and drives. 24/7 support for PLC, HMI and SCADA failures.

Why Piot
- We develop our own weld-quality cameras. You see the defects that show on the surface and in the process while the weld is being made, and rely less on cut-and-etch sections. We adapt the system to your part ourselves.
- We design and manufacture our fixtures. For the part that decides weld quality, design and manufacturing sit in one team: the team that draws it is responsible for building it.
- We repair robot boards ourselves. A new part can take months to arrive, or may no longer be made. A repair is often faster than waiting for a new one. Repair time depends on the fault; we give you a time once we have looked at the board.
- One team from design to service. The team that builds your cell also services it.
