Automation & Modernization: We Build the Connections Between Them
This section covers the control side of machines and lines: moving PLCs that can no longer be sourced to a current platform, automating machines and lines, machine vision inspection and sensors for harsh environments. We work for plants that want their machines connected to each other, to the maintenance team and to production data.

Legacy PLC modernization
PLC migration (S5 / S7-300)A PLC you can no longer get parts for can stop a line for days at the next failure. SIMATIC S5 has been out of production and support for years. SIMATIC S7-300 and ET 200M have been available only in spare-part quantities since 1 October 2025, with no new procurement. We move SIMATIC S5 systems to S7-1500, replace end-of-life drives with current series and do the switch-over inside a planned shutdown window. Details: PLC migration.
If a line is down right now because of a PLC, HMI or SCADA fault, the modernization can wait. Start with PLC and SCADA breakdown support; we provide 24/7 support for breakdowns.
Machine and line automation
Machine and line automationFrom a small change on one machine to projects covering a whole line, we build the control side turnkey: control architecture, panel, PLC and HMI programs, drives, safety circuit and SCADA. The data we collect from the line is not an abstract digitalization program. It is part counts, downtime reasons, cycle times and energy. Details: machine and line automation.
Machine vision inspection
Machine visionA camera checks every part on the line for missing components, out-of-tolerance dimensions, unreadable codes or surface defects, and passes the decision to the PLC or robot. Half the work is lighting and how the part is presented to the camera. We set the line between good and bad together with your quality team, using real parts. Details: machine vision.
Senstronic sensors
Senstronic sensorsIn welding cells, strong magnetic fields and spatter can falsely trigger standard inductive sensors or destroy them quickly. We are an official partner of Senstronic, the French manufacturer of sensors for harsh environments. Details: Senstronic sensors.
Why these belong together
On the shop floor these are not separate jobs. The sensor in the fixture tells the PLC the part is in place, the camera hands its verdict to the PLC, and the PLC carries the line's data to SCADA. Split them across several suppliers and the signals between them, the responsibility boundaries and who to call at a breakdown all become unclear. We handle them in one project, with one team. A PLC migration is also often the right moment to start collecting line data.
