About Us: Robotics and Automation Engineering from Kocaeli
Piot Engineering is an engineering company based in Başiskele, Kocaeli, Turkey. We build robot cells and robotic welding systems, automate machines and lines, design and manufacture fixtures and machine parts, and maintain, repair and supply parts for the robots and PLCs already running in factories. We work for plants in Turkey and for customers in Europe.
What we do
One goal sits at the center of our work: our customer's production keeps running, as planned. We do five things to get there:
- We build robot cells: welding, palletizing, machine tending and assembly cells, from design through commissioning and training.
- We develop camera systems for weld quality: weld seam tracking and weld pool monitoring.
- We automate, and we replace ageing control systems: PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, drives; migrations from SIMATIC S5 and S7-300 to S7-1500.
- We design and manufacture the mechanics around the robot: fixtures, grippers, conveyors, frames and special machines.
- We keep existing robots and PLCs running: preventive maintenance, new and used spare parts with warranty, board and drive repair, 24/7 breakdown support.
How we work
- Prove it, then build it. We build the cell virtually first and verify reach and cycle time in simulation before installation.
- Clear scope. On the first visit we say what suits a robot and what doesn't.
- One team, start to finish. The team that designed the cell is also on site for commissioning, and the team that comes for a breakdown knows the cell.
- Traceable quality. Every delivery is backed by measurable engineering standards and traceable quality records.
- Still here after the warranty. Maintenance, parts and repair are part of our core work, not an add-on.

Senstronic: we are an official partner of Senstronic, the French sensor manufacturer.
Where we work
Our office is in Başiskele, Kocaeli, close to the industrial zones of Kocaeli, Sakarya, Istanbul and Bursa. We also work for customers in Europe, including fixtures built to drawing, machined parts and site installation crews for other integrators.
